There is no doubt that we are in the age where many ,if not all, universities in US and International have become factories for a vast number of students. Even schools ranking depend on toppers. I have found, with my experience, the most common policy many schools have for under-achievers is extra-class.

It is a grave situation for a developed country like US where one student drops out of school every 12 seconds in a year.

In my country,India, A nation of dropouts. 38% dropouts every year is a catastrophe for a young country.
We need a radical shift in our education systems which serves people for 21st century.
